Indeed. Poor, dear, ungrateful Amanda was pretty clueless. I didn't watch the entire episode, did Al show up later, or just for his Polka?

Well, they started on September 27th.

Ak makes a good point. Al did get exposure on a pretty popular show. I will say I was happy to hear the designer say "Thanks for the inspiration" to Al after he was done playing the polka. hehe, he still played a few little notes while she said that. So, I know Ty and the design team were grateful to Al. It's a shame Amanda didn't know him.

Oh, and thanks for the screen caps, Ak!

Btw, Driew, you can't assume that the whole family aren't Al fans. We only know that Amanda doesn't like polka, and probably doesn't know who Al is. We never heard from the rest of the family.

It was disappointing that Amanda had the reaction he had (who here doesn't wish they had a tailor-made Al polka for thenselves?), but Al was great on the show as always so I was happy with it.

It would have been cool to see Al meeting the family at the end after the family saw their new house and everything. And footage of him goofing off and running around with Ty in that golf cart - hehe

I've only watched Extreme Makeover twice -- the other time was when Elton John was on it. His appearance was a computer linkup too. Do the celebrity guests ever meet with the families?
