Drooling Over Smells Like Nirvana Cheerleaders

Post by TMBJon »

I just wanted to start this thread to point out that the SLN cheerleaders are usually very attractive. Does anyone know where the venues get these girls from? Does anyone know the process of how they learn the dances? Does anyone know if any Al fans ever got this coveted position?

Discuss.

The Albany concert review I posted (from the Times Union) mentioned the names of the local women who got that coveted position here. The article just said they were local dancers.

I was rather amused by the Albany women. One was really good and the other was not.

Heh.

"Dancers"

...of the lap variety I'd suspect.

I may have been a bit harsh when I said 'of the lap variety.'

However, I'll stick to the notion that the "dancers" (a term which is used very loosely in this connotation) are not from Besty McKay's School of Dance, but more likely from a "gentlemen's" (again, using the term loosely) club.

Was there something about that particular show that makes you say that? Because the girls at the SLO show, while not the greatest of dancers didn't appear to be skanky at all to me. They did a pretty good job and seemed classy enough to share the stage with our boy.

Those girls are the best! I like 'em nice and hairy. Oh, you're talking about the ones in concert. Yeah, there ok.

I never said they were skanky (your word, not mine). I just said "gentlemen's club." Just because a person works in a 'club' doesn't necessarily mean they're skanky.

I've been to plenty of shows where it was quite obvious where the 'girls' were from. But I would never call any of them skanky.

Just plastic.
