Yes, he's performed HN with Crash Test Dummies before.

Not sure about Jimmy Webb.

I've heard that Don McLean sometimes accidentally starts singing the lyrics to TSB on stage, because his kids listen to Al's song so much that he gets it stuck in his head and temporarily confused.

And I've also heard that PUSA sometimes finish "Lump" with "And that's all I have to say about that."

They've pretty much done it that way since Gump came out. I even have an early post-Gump performance of Lump done acoustically on WBCN in Boston where Chris Ballew pauses at the end...much like he almost forgot how the song ended

Also, one of the many bootlegs I've found has them starting off Lump and Chris very audibly accidentaly starts singing Gump. Priceless
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

Did anyone click on the link I posted up above? I thought that site was pretty cool, and am disapplointed that I've heard nothing back. Anyway, just wondering.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Ah, sorry Patti. I missed the link in your post. Yes, I've seen that before, but it's a good site. I love that Lousy Haircut pic of Al.

hehe, yeah, that pic is too funny!

I wasn't sure if that link had been posted or not, but I liked some of the sketches that were in there along with the pics. It's cool that she has video clips there, too.

I understood what all of them were trying to point out, but I really don't agree with some of them. My main gripe was the one saying something like "Harvey's phone wouldn't have that kind of ring because that brand and model didn't feature that particular tone on the consumer version blah blah blah."

Sheesh, heaven forbid a filmmaker wanted to create their own world in a movie, one where models of phones may have different rings. It would be like nitpicking the existence of the fictional Jack Rabbit Slim's in "Pulp Fiction." You're allowed to make things up, as far as I know about filmmaking.

Nitpicking and finding movie flubs is one thing, but getting really anal retentive over nothing is just disturbing.

Yeah, they sounded pretty harsh with that... But it was common for phones back then to sound different then the brand/modal they were, right?

Yeah... Besides, Al and Jay didn't have much experience back then... So I'm sure most of those "mistakes" were there on purpose.
