Just out of curiousity, when do the celebrities sign their names on that board? Did the audience get to see Al sign it?
Hmm, when you read what it says about the doormat in the description for the ebay auction, it says the celebrity doormat was created after the show. Good question, though.

It would have been strange if it didn't happen that way, since the signature was a big part of the original show's introduction of the mystery guest.
