Maybe Jay doesn't consider himself a movie star, but he'd make a credible track star. Poof, vamoose, he's gone! :blush:

"Look! Bermuda got leid!"

:blush:
LOLOLOL! That's the last time Mrs. Bermie lets him attend a convention unchaperoned. (Yikes, and right there in the hallway, no less!!!) :eh:

One of those cases when good orthography is ESSENTIAL. What a difference one letter can make...

"The bustard's a fortunate fowl,

With minimal reason to howl;

He escapes what would be

Illegitimacy

By grace of a fortunate vowel."

If all goes well, my plan is to have an embarrassing story to add to this topic by tonight!!!

Well, actually I'm hoping for the regular thread but I'm sure I'll start to stammer my words if I actually get to meet Al.

LOL! Maybe it's late, maybe I've had too much caffeine, who knows - but that line right there is the funniest thing I've read all night. :)

I already know what would happen if I ever got to meet Al. I'd have all kinds of things ready to say, then I'd end up just stammering my head off. UGH!

<sniff> Al and the guys are rocking out in Puyallup as I type this. And I'm not there. So to cheer myself up, I dug up this topic.

We've had two summer's worth of American touring and an Aussie tour as well since the topic was started. Surely we have a few more embarrassing stories to share.

I had a dumb momemt (luckily Al didn't know anything about it) when I was backstage waiting to meet him at Puyallup last year.

I had just gotten to go back, and I was standing there amazed by his dressing room door. There was a sign that said "AL" and the door was a little ajar. I wasn't looking in or anything, just standing there doing the deer in the headlights thing because of the sign, but a stage hand closed the door and gave me a dirty look. <_<

It was then, that I noticed I was standing less than 10 feet from The Man Himself.... D'oh!!!
