I like Yahoo Serious.

There were comedians that opened before 2 of the AL shows I went too. They weren't bad.

Yeah, I must have seen the same person as you did Grom. He was okay, I guess. He was sort of adult. No swearing or anything, just a few minor adult themes. I don't think anyone minded him really.

Last year, at Westbury, there was a guy (I believe he was at another show, I forget his name) who opened. Did a few lame jokes (and according to a source, did better with the SAME somewhere else). By the time his act was almost over, he was getting booed by a couple of people.

He was eh in the first place. "Shiite" , as in making fun of the S word, is not a very good joke.
Neither are jokes about setting bags of excrement on fire.

But.. uh... Jackie or Dave can elaborate on that guy. I can't remember.

as a random change of subject, does anyone else have the urge to see the dukes of hazzard movie just to scream 'ashtray!' whenever an ashtray appears? or is that just me (and a few select friends)?

A liitle off topic Naomi. Yelling ashtray is often frowned upon in the theatres I go to.
When did we get a chair on the porch? This is crazy.....
