Maybe since that summer was full of all the good blockbusters, they just needed something to complain about.Manda wrote: Honestly I don't understand why Siskel and Ebert hated UHF. It wasn't that bad.

There were many great blockbusters that came that same summer. Al says that in the commentary.twinkieweinersandwiches24_7 @ Jun 17 2005, 03:47 PM wrote: Unless, of course, that's what really happened.
Cane and Rinse: weekly thoughtful video game discussion. Give it a listen, won't you?

Never fear, Cat. The Drool Topic is fully intact. It's right here!SmileyGirl87 @ Jun 17 2005, 02:51 PM wrote: empty post. sorry. I found the topic closed elsewhere...

Btw, Manda, I've only seen Ebert's review of UHF. I have no idea what Gene Siskel thought of it. But Mr. Ebert was awfully harsh.

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!

I think it was Ebert who hated it. I have no idea what Siskel thought about it. He tended to have better taste in movies, so I hope he liked it.Manda @ Jun 17 2005, 03:30 PM wrote: Honestly I don't understand why Siskel and Ebert hated UHF. It wasn't that bad.

Well, considering Ebert liked "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and the new "Honeymooners" movie and he wrote the jigglefest "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls," should we really care what problems he had with "UHF?"Manda @ Jun 17 2005, 06:30 PM wrote: Honestly I don't understand why Siskel and Ebert hated UHF.
