QUOTE QUOTE QUOTE P.S. Don't even say anything rboy, I just don't have that much time to read allright.
What is that supposed to mean?
That after I posted I was stupid enough to find out that on the last page you said that last night it wasn't on and I said I wasn't 100% sure wich day it aired first.
QUOTE Oh, I get it.

Wow! Tom Green and Al have a lot in common.
1) both came up with the idea for Eat It
2) both make a joke out of ridiculous food combos (tire rubber, bagel, grated cheese)
Um. That's all I can think of.
Personally, I'm glad there was no performance. Most tv performances are not that exciting to me. And if he did perform it probably would have been Couch Potato, which we've already seen done on Kilborn. That scientist at the end was hilarious, wasn't he? I loved Tom's reaction! Priceless.

Moderators can change the title of this thread to "Al on Tom Green Reviews" in 3, 2, 1...now!
Let me just say that while I wasn't impressed with the show, it did remind me of first year Conan...which is to say, not very good. I did get a few laughs out of it though, which is more than I can say for Kilswitch...er, Kilbourn. The deer thing looked a lot like something Letterman would've done back in the early 80's, and the USO bit was very Letterman inspired (some would say "ripped off" ), but I still liked it. And the best part (Although probably unintentionally funny) was Tom's reaction to "ET".....yeah, took me a while to catch that. And Aisha Tyler wass the fake Talk Soup host, he needs to get the real one.
And of course, Al...I'm glad there was an interview instead of a performance. So many times I see an interesting musical guest on a talk show and I'd much rather hear what they have to say. They'll have so many other chances to play live. Of course, the best of both worlds would have been Al talking and performing, but TBITB weren't there. Guess they had more important things to do.
If anything, Tom should get bonus points for the way he introduced Al in the monolaugue. There's a host who knows how to treat his guests! If you want me, I'll be over in the Drool to...oh great, Scotti's got me saying it now....

QUOTE Who knew that Al was on Glen's list of sexiest singers? Heh, heh!
Anybody want to place a bet on how likely it is that that "Sexiest Singer" clip will show up on a certain video screen at a certain concert series coming soon to a venue [hopefully] near you?? Hmmmmm?
Al was [no surprise here] great on the show. Loved the AlTV clip to kick the interview off. And then loved how Tom thought he was so brilliant in figuring out that it was a series of clips of Em with Al talking over them -- WOW TOM!! Al is the only guy I know who can pull off being wacky and classy almost simultaneously ... or at least within the same sentence.
But what was up with the tincan phone thing? From where in the darkened abyss of the writers' minds did that bit o' nonsense spring forth?? But yet again, classy Al played along with it until Tom himself realized ... hey, c'mon, this bit ain't working, boys ...
Final Score: Al 27 -- Tom 3
"Nowhutahmsayin?"

Ah, much better. It's so much better with Al there to distract me. I loved how Al was introduced to be one of the sexiest singers *mind keeps going back to the My VH1 Awards* and the Eminem bit to kick off the interview.
I did like how Tom Green did not like the E.T. thing. I found that amusing.
Didn't like the dead deer thing amusing at all, I'm sorry.
