But I'd imagine the people behind it have given Al some thought (It's not like they go after the biggest selling, more popular artists for the morning show. A lot of times, it's more who's available).
Not to say Al isn't popular and best selling, right?

Hell, the Today Show should be honored to have him!
Why does Al resemble Ted Kazensky? Because he's the bomb! Shine!

i know its kinda off topic, but he was great on the Nick Magazine special, except the missing verse thing, but i think he would be great on the Today show.

I think it would be fun if he was on Ellen. She's so big right now, and she's funny. I think our boy would do well in an interview with her!

Ellen and Al would be so cool. I thought it was cool when he did Wayne Brady although WBUL was a not good choice. I would have loved to see complicated song or something else.

what?? WBUL was a great choice. Even my evil hubby, who just recently called Al ugly :stern: , said it was funny. I'm glad he did that song, and I think Helen is, too. ;)

I wouldn't mind seeing Al on Conan's show. I love Conan.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Normally I would agree with you, but this song allowed Al to "mingle" with the audience, which got them involved. I thought it was a great idea.

Yes, very. :)

And for an audience as well-populated with females as Wayne Brady's was (as indeed would be any daytime talk show), WBUL was an excellent choice. I'd think so even if I hadn't been SUNG! TO! BY! AL!

~OE, still basking in the remembered glory of Al wanting to be my beef burrito on national television.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

So if he wanted to mingle with the audience, why not sing OMM. He mingles a lot more with that one.

Because OMM isn't a song on the cd he was promoting. WBUL was the best choice, IMHO. Deal with it!

:P

And I think he mingles plenty during WBUL. He sang to me once. I haven't gotten any OMM attention...yet

Anyway, if you really want to contact any of the talk shows and suggest Al be a guest, go to Greg's page here. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page.
