As much as it pains me to admit, Eminem's actually been an ok guy about this. He didn't want a video, Al got a few shots in and it just went back to normal. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of compromise between the two. I mean, Al made Eminem look like a complete idiot in that Al TV interview (And I highly doubt Eminem hasn't at least heard of it...too small a world), and Eminem hasn't done anything. We're talking about a man who gets offended by puppets, people.
Sure, Al could've done a video...but Eminem would've turned around and just did a video right back. And it wouldn't have been funny to us (Welll.....except iisryan. And me, I guess...I dunno. I think the guy can be hilarious when he wants to be...I'd just be offended at the same time)
Eminem basically owns MTV right now (The same way Michael Jackson thought he did when he tried to get the plug pulled on the Just Lose It video). All Eminem would have to do is say the word, and Al's video would be DOA (Just as long as Al isn't of course

), and Al would've seen a backlash.
Eminem won the battle, but Al won the war. Remember...Al came off in all of this in a very generous media light. The majority, even if they weren't Al fans, told Eminem to give it a rest. No, Eminem didn't lose any fans and Al didn't gain any. And Poodle Hat's sales aren't where they should be, but I highly doubt that at the end of the day, Al really cares about it.
As I've mentioned before, I think Poodle Hat is in for a big time revival when the next ALbum comes out. No one (Unfortunatly including Al) will be able to avoid rehashing the Eminem story. A story that only really lasted two weeks in the Non Al fan community then (If that), will make more of an impact three or four years later with a video that'll last two months. (OK...not more of an impact than almost 50,000 copies in the first week....but you get what I mean)
Sure, there could have been another video, but Al works hard enough, don't you think? He'll get 'em next time.
