There was a show that followed up on several of the BHM and they updated Al's story somehow. A Suzanne mention? Honestly, I don't rememeber exactly. I'm sure someone here can quote chapter and verse.

Tara Lyn is correct. It wasn't a full blown BTM show, more like a 2 minute mention as part of a larger BTM updates show, so it's perfectly understandable that a lot of people missed it. They mentioned that Al finally found love, and is married, and showed a picture of Al with Suzanne. And they interviewed a few people off the street who either said that they hadn't known Al was married now, and wished Al well in his marriage.

Titled, ironically, "Behind the Music: Updates and Fresh Takes."

probably Suzanne didn't represent the first time Al found love... it's just that all the other times it was the kind that results in really great Weird Al songs :

Wedded bliss for Al... our loss, his gain. And we hope that we never stop being, like, total losers! :D

when i was looking there i also found a typo. It listed an appearance he made somewhere around '96 and he was promoting Running With Scissors but thats before it even came out

p.s. thanks to whoever fixed what i put. I saw that it wasnt right and i could figure out how to fix it. :D

Well, I'm glad they updated it. Now what part of Al's life are they going to blow way out of proportion? :P
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

I really really really hope that BTM-type "milk-the-misfortune" shows stay strictly away from Al now that he actually has had a great personal sorrow. I don't want to see MTV/VH1 or any of their ilk getting anywhere near Nick and Mary.

You're definitely right, OE. I definitely wouldn't want to see BTM (or any other show for that matter) trying to deal with that.
