I was just wondering whether anybody who thought WBUL was "going too far" has been to a concert yet, and if so what you thought of the song's live performance?

I thought it was HYSTERICAL the highlight of the show. Al's over-the-top antics kept me smiling, giggling and shaking my head through the whole song, and the end where he throws himself into a conniption fit, screaming and pounding the floor until the dust is flying...it's great! :onfire: .

Suzanne, keep that boy away from the vitamins! He's WAY too healthy. :)

From all the reports I've been hearing, anyone who didn't like Wanna Be Ur Lovr before, after seeing it in concert, they love it.

I liked it a lot before seeing it live, but after seeing it live, I like it even better!!

Good to get the review from Mars.

I don't quite know how he accomplished it, but Al managed to come up with a song (and performance) that is sleazy, smarmy, hysterically funny, and jaw-droppingly sexy all at the same time.

I'll be over in the Drool Topic if anyone needs me.

I don't think it's a bad song at all. It's full of every single stupid pickup line ever said, and that's what I think makes it so darn funny. I'm sure a few of us have either used one of them, or had one used on them.

Besides, by the time you get to the end of the song, they're all so silly! I mean, most of those lines would get a guy smacked right across the face.

I guess that explains why he still lives with is mom. ;)

Be SURE and post pics of any girls you reel in by fishing with those lines. That's something we really gotta see!

The first time I heard it, my first thought was "I hope he didn't use any of those lines on Suzanne!" My husband couldn't stop laughing (I've turned him on to a lot of what I like, including Al), and my 23-year-old son, who's an ALfan too, thought it was hilarious. The innuendo lines made the parody that much better, because when Al sings "Are you picking up the subtle innuendo here, uh huh", I'm going, "Any more subtle and you'd need a brick!" I was a bit surprised, but I see it as Al giving us credit for being reasonably mature. Just my humble opinion. :D
