Well I'm guessing they're good friends nowadays.algonacchick @ Jan 22 2005, 01:28 PM wrote: Yeah, Al doesn't seem like the Studio 54 type. And how could you not get along with him? That makes me sad.

Harvey, how was it getting into shape back in the early days, as shown on The Weird Al Show? Like when you did those chinups?

When you say you didn't get along, I'm assuming you can talk. So what happen at Studio 54?

Let me just clarify that Al and are best friends now. So don't worry about that.
Andy Warhol took me in as a guest. The owners didn't mind, as Andy was one of their most famous patrons.
Anyway, Al was there too. To this day I have no idea how he got in. But when he was there, he just kept badgering everyone to listen to what I later found out was "Belvedere Cruisin'." He was just really bugging Andy, and it was bothering me too. So I yelled at Al, "Get out of here, man!" Al left, and that night I felt guilty. I gave him a call and apologized, and we began to talk almost every night. We didn't see each other in person again until 1984 or so, when "Eat It" came out.
