I know that if a parody idea is published, Al will not do it.
What counts as published?
For example, is it okay to talk about what songs we'd like to see polka'd or parodied in the Music section of this forum? What about webpages? Or any other online community?
Basically, does fan chatting about this among fans count as published, or what?
Just curious,
Bob

Without consulting a dictionary or an attorney, I'd say that published means made available in a tangible form, and with the electronic media boom of the last decade, that would also include the Internet.
The problem is, if Al were to do something that someone 'suggested', it would create an authorship conflict. I don't think that talking to someone offline would be an issue, unless you were talking to Al.
