Theyre different?!? How different? Because Jaces were taking forever
I presume they're different because they're actually the recompressed files from the Unofficial Homepage, whereas Jace's are slightly different, mixed from his own tapes.

Downloading. This is going to take forever, my computers been going slower than normal lately, gotta do a virus scan later.
The estimated download time for one episode was 40 Hours, 13 minutes.
Tip One: Use a download manager like FreshDownload. That way you can pause the download. Secondly, Jace's server hopefully won't be so slow tomorrow.

Hm... now it says that it will take at least fourteen hours, which is still a lot. Can you go offline between pauses with that Freshdownload thing?

Edit: Its... at an estimated time of...114 hours... and it's still going up!

Jace, do you think it would be possible to Zip the episodes or compress them in some other way? 160 Megabytes is way to big of a file.

Oh man, I just discovered this topic. Is it too late to join in any of the commentaries? If it is, oh well. If not, then can I be a part of "Al plays Hooky"? For those who might remember that episode, that's the one where he mentions my name.

Anyhoo--- I do have Skype. I do wanna test it out before we do a commentary because sometimes--- tech does not work with my computer.
Man, you and Marty are the luckiest people---

I was praying that they'd say 'Aron City' in that episode of Johnny Bravo.

Fourteen hours? That's not really that long, in the scheme of things. It probably said 114 hours because the server had just shut off.

However, judging by the speed of your download, I'm guessing you're either on or limited to dialup speed. That means you probably won't be able to participate anyway... :( Too bad.

Happy Steve, I'll add you to the list.

For downloading large files, I recommend MetaProducts Download Express. It's free for personal use, you can pause downloads, and best of all it splits the file into smaller chunks, downloads each piece simultaneously, then combines them all behind the scene.

Getting back on topic, has there been any dates set for testing this yet?

Not a good thing to do with Jace's server. That's what sent it crashing last month or so. Set the download chunks to just 1 if possible.

So wait, where are we officially supposed to be downloading from? Jace's or the one weirdalforum.com? If they're different, why don't we sync them up?

Because my files don't have the "BACK TO THE SHOW!!!" and "WE'LL BE RIGHT BACK!" things, while WHiZZi's files do.

I still might be able to do this, my dad has a really fast non-dialup internet connection, so I can use his computer. Plus my family is probably getting DSL soon. I'll let you know if I'm able to work something out.
