So having read the new Ask Al update.. Al mentions the possibility of being back on the road summer 2006. I suppose it's too much to hope for that to be for a new album? What does everyone think?? Either way, I hope it happens.. I can manage to hold out that long for another concert. If I must.

I could take the positive view and think 2006, new album, new tour, but right now I'm really thinking 2005 NOTHING ;(

I know.. but I'm thinking.. well.. that's more time for me to set aside $$ for tour chasing, as well as acrue sick and vacation time for the same. :)

I think he'll come out with a new album in 2006, and go on a 2 year tour, just as he did with most of his tours.

I only saw ONE SHOW on the PHT, it's not that bad. (I had to wait 3 months to see it anyway)
The Office: NBC, Thursdays at 9.
If you're not watching, you're doing yourself great injustice.

I kinda figured we are looking at 2006 for the new album anyways. As soon as the last album was released, I did the math. But the good news is, if Al keeps up the pace he had for the last album, we can expect new albums through at least 2012.

Give the man a break , he now has the time to deal with his parents deaths and spend a much needed spending time together with Suzanne and Nina. ( and offcourse work on new material for his next ALbum )

Also TBITB need a well deserved vacation and doing their personal stuff and time to spend with their loved ones.

AL and TBITB , only less than 3 weeks to go.
Play your heart out and see you back on tour in 2006 , please come to the Netherlands and Europe this time. ;)

I agree, RWDW....He has had a lot of changes in his personal life. I think it's amazing that he kept up as well as he did!

I'm looking forward to the new material and a new tour, even if it is 2006...time to save some money to go to more than one....I feel really lame having only gone to the local show each year.

Hoping there will be an Alcon in 2005 to tide us over until tour 2006! :F

There is always the Orange County Fair in 2005 ....................unless the county sells the Fairgrounds

That really doesn't count as touring..........

It didn't have to count as touring in 2002. It was a wonderful and economic way to enjoy 6 shows.

I'd love (and probably make an effort to go to) any special Al-related event in 2005.
