Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

Well, 19 pages wasn't very fat, so I had to constitute the title.

I agree with Mewrio in that I hate double-sided discs and would prefer paying a few dollars more to get a two-disc set.

Here's what I want on this set:
*A booklet with notes from Al, a transcript of his commentary, photos, and a guide to deleted scenes, among other things (though DVD booklets will probably be phased out by 2009)
*Nice widescreen print. The only time I've ever utilised the full screen side of UHF was for the special features that are on that side. Films are meant to be shown in their original aspect ratio!!
*Extended deleted scenes feature
*Retrospective interviews
*UHF 2--a short (possibly animated?) movie made exclusively for the DVD which continues the story for about a half-hour
*And all the features included on the current DVD
I'm ranking every Beatles song on my new pop culture blog. Check it out!

I like the UHF 2 Idea.

Possibily more behind-the-scenes today bits, with like people in the Tulsa area talking about the filming of UHF, and exploring the places that still exist that UHF was filmed at.

An option to be able to change one scene(they're choosing), around in any way you see fit.

Me too! Double-sided discs just annoy me to no end.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

The one thing that I would want is the bloopers, if there was any. And I'm sure there was. And I wouldn't mind more deleted scenes. That's all I would really want. Maybe one or two interviews just for the heck of it.

Very good ideas, Anth- I agree with all of them.

Plus some new commentary, along with the old one.
The Office: NBC, Thursdays at 9.
If you're not watching, you're doing yourself great injustice.

Yes, some updated Commentary would be really nice.

Believe it or not, I've never seen UHF *dodges attacks* but not to worry! I'm going to be watching it this weekend, because it just so happens to be coming on tv saturday, sunday, and monday on three different HBO channels. :D The schedule is as follows if you have cable channels:

Saturday, Sep. 11

12:30 AM ET - HBO Family
3:35 PM ET - HBO Comedy

Sunday, Sep. 12

4:25 AM ET - HBO Comedy

Monday, Sep. 13

7:15 AM ET - HBO2

This might not apply for everyone, but I'm pretty sure if you get HBO and live in the eastern time zone, you should be ok. Then again, I'm guessing most of you probably own it on DVD anyway. :P

Do any of you know if movies on DVD get the same treatment as CDs and non-movie DVDs? Do they get GOLD and PLATINUM awards? Has UHF gone GOLD or PLATINUM yet?
