QUOTE Just a thought...this topic's name should be changed to something like \"Poodle Hat Chart Watch\". We don't need a new topic about it's position, and there's talk about Poodle Hat's chart position which doesn't fit in weirdal.com update.
I like your thinking Space Dingo.
Consider it done.

Wow....that was quick! Thanks!
And to make this a relevant reply, in case weirdal.com isn't updating for you (Which it sometimes does), Poodle Hat debuted at #17 with almost 50, 000 copies sold, both first week highs for our man Al!!!!
An incrredible feat for an ALbum without a video and a first week ALbum in a struggling music industry. As well, of course, an incredible feat for Al!
Update: It's now up
QUOTE and the clown prince of parody \"Weird Al\" Yankovic will proudly wear his Poodle Hat at #17.
Not exactly a glorius write up, but any write up that doesn't mention Marshall is worth it.....and what's with this junk Ricky Martin debuting at #12....stupid record buying public....notable acts Al did better then, DJ Kay Slay, Powerman 5000 (PM5K as the kids like to call them), and Live. And Marilyn Manson and Cold (#1 and #3 respectavly last week) went down to...get this..#21 and #29...Poodle Party indeed!!!!!!!!!

Here's another mention.
QUOTE \"Weird Al\" Yankovic's first album in four years, Poodle Hat, debuted at number 17 thanks to \"Coach Potato,\" a parody of Eminem (news - web sites)'s \"Lose Yourself.\" The song didn't have the benefit of a video after Eminem nixed the idea. Other superstars given the parody treatment on Poodle include Nelly, the Backstreet Boys (news - web sites), Billy Joel (news) and Avril Lavigne (news).

E! ran the same story...I was just on my way here to talk about it. So far where batting .500 on Eminem thing. E! Does give "Poodle Hat" a favorable review.
