Do you know what I realized last night?
I drew the hand in the foreground with the 'real' hand in mind: 4 fingers and a thumb (obscured thumb) and the hand holding the lightsaber as the usual cartoon hand with 3 fingers and thumb.
man, Im gonna have to edit that....

LOL I died laughing when I read this. The Sporkman @ Jul 16 2004, 09:16 PM wrote: You could fix it... or you could simply take the easy out and concoct some cockamamie story about a rather unfortunate encounter with the Dark Lord Rubén in which Al's index finger was severed! Those wacky Jedi are always slicing off bits of each others anatomy!
I already did some work on it. It was a nice challenge actually since I had nothing left to focus on except: work. Sleep. Work. Sleep. Work. Sleep. I was miserable.
I used the index finger on the foreground hand as the top line start for the thumb. I removed a finger and adjusted the placement slightly. It looked wonky at first to me but I realized... it ultimately looks like the fingers I did on the first Al art that ended up as a Calender.
A bonus: I worked on the lightsaber and made it more light and less "pool cue covered with palmtrees"

Well, it is a Star Wars pictureThe Sporkman @ Jul 17 2004, 03:37 AM wrote: It keeps getting better and better, but eventually you're going to need to call it quits. Ironically, the official term for this sort of endless cycle of remaking the same thing over and over again is "pulling a George Lucas."
