I would actually be ok with it if they had the Simpsons in general at #2. They've done plenty of great music-related episodes. A half-hour cartoon doesn't even begin to compare with Al's ouevre.

Perhaps VH1 couldn't get the rights to show much else from the series for the segment?

I didn't get to see it! *weeps* I shall have to see a rerun some day. Argh, I'm sleepy...I stayed up until 1:00 AM last night, playing Megaman Battle Network 3 White...And then I had a dream that I was being attacked by gremlins or goblins or something of the sort...
