Al On The Today Show

People usually only do these concerts for the Today Show and GMA when they have something new to promote. If Al was going to do this, last summer would've been the time.

Well Al is STILL promoting PH.

I suppose it would have more to do with how booked in advance they are. The Today Friday summer concerts have become pretty popular and I'd think they would be booked a little past that July date.

But I'd imagine the people behind it have given Al some thought (It's not like they go after the biggest selling, more popular artists for the morning show. A lot of times, it's more who's available).

It's a nice thought, but I doubt it will happen. Most of the dates are pretty much booked for both GMA and Today. Oh well, it's not a total loss (for me anyway). Train is performing on July 9th.

It would be awesome to see Al on the Summer Concert Series for the Today Show and ton of promotion for him! But, I seriously, doubt it will happen. At least not this summer.

NBC's The Today Show with Katie Couric and Matt Lauer has this segment on their show called To Your Health and one time they played Eat It at the openning of the segment.

Just last week they were celebrating ebay's anniversary and they had this TODAY Show quiz where they asked what was the very first thing that was ever sold on ebay and they played Weird Al's ebay at the same time.
