Steve Jay does a mean "Hang On Sloopy."

I'd like to hear them cover some of their own favorite songs by other artists.

And I'd like to hear Al cover practically anything on accordion.

*cough*bonustracks*cough*
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

He's done a few covers:

My Generation
George of the Jungle
Bohemian Rhaspody/Polka
and Twister (yes, it's a cover of the theme song from the old 80s television commercial)

If he does any true covers, I would want him to do either Tom Lehrer (sp?) or Allan Sherman.

Did he change the wording at all?
I am gone until June, as a result of the Junior Cert, a very large exam.

I don't think it was "girls and homeboys" before...

I think Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing In The Dark is ripe for polka covering, song covering, punk covering (my favorite).

Don't forget You Light Up My Life! One of my favorite Al songs ever, and probably the worst.

"I-E-A-I-A-I-O" by Sstem of a Down (edited of course)
"Walkie Talkie Man" by Steriogram (my current favorite song)

Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding -- Elton John

It is one of my most favorite songs EVER, and Al said he used to play this one on accordion in the coffee shops in SLO town. I'd love to hear it -- either an old tape, or a new, fresh version. :9~
This means something. This is important.

Maybe "Sometimes you feel like a nut" could be considered both a cover and a parody...

Hmm...songs Al could cover...

"The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" or "His Cheeseburger" from VeggieTales
"Sadie Hawkins Dance" by Reliant K
"Trogdor" by Strong Bad
"Wow, another triple negative!"
