I've never actually watched that show... do the musical guests typically come on at a certain point in the show?

Maybe 11 years. He performed SLN and YDLMA on Arsenio Hall in July 1992.

conan always has good bands so he'll probably be there. I dont know y SNL hasnt asked him to be on. Hes a comedy musician which will be great for a COMEDY show right? Right?

I would love it soooo much if Al would host SNL. I love SNL and Al and the mix of the two would be great. (No offense, but they let Garth Brooks be the host and Chris Gaines be the music guest.... so why not let Al and his alter-ego do it?)
