Like A Surgeon

This has been on my mind for quite a while now. Anyway, here's my question. Why does Al do a different approach musically to Like A Surgeon on tour than on DTBS?

I don't know for sure, but I'm thinking he changed the arrangement when Madonna changed the arrangement for LAV on her Truth Or Dare album.

I wish Al would make the TOD version available as an extra on one of the future CDs.

It was actually for her concert film "Truth or Dare"...I'm not sure, but I believe the tour was called that as well. I am pretty sure, however, that the song didn't appear on whatever her current album was.

As to why Al didn't rerecord the song in the studio, I guess he wanted to keep it as a live treat. At least it has been officially released on the "Live!" video, though.

I figured I probably had it wrong about it being on an album, but I figured someone would correct me.

No, no. I want a Studio version. I think it's much better than the original version.

Wasn't the Video called " In Bed with........Madonna" and the tour "Blonde Ambition Tour"
