I found this little bit completley by accident...the magazine YM got mailed to my dad's house...I'd like to believe that he didn't subscribe to it...

There is an article about this guy named Jason Schwartzman (ex-drummer for the band Phantom Planet and actor on Cracking Up) He is asked to list 10 things that crack him up. He lists a lot of great stuff including SNL, the movie Heavyweights and the book Letters From a Nut. The 9th thing he lists is our boy, Alfred! Here's what he says:

9. Weird Al
I have the Weird Al box set. I think he's one of the finest songwriters America has, and I say that with all sincerity. The dude is incredibly brilliant. I look up to him. I saw him when I was driving once, and I flipped out and almost crashed. A little "Fat" or "Amish Paradise" will pep you right up.

I think those were some darn nice things he said! And all true!
Very tasty!

How cool!

Am I correct in guessing that YM is a magazine for young men?
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Fred's right, OE. It's for teenage girls. That's pretty cool, i_love_yankovic! Thanks for sharing!

Patti
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Thanks! I can see why one wouldn't want one's father to be a subscriber!
