Pets and Their Celebrities?

Post by Squirrelygirl »

I just noticed the book "Pets and Their Celebrities" has been available for a while, apparently since December of last year. Although the pics are on Al's website, in a listing of celebrities, Al's name was not among them.

Has anyone bought the book?

Is Al included or did he (and Suzanne and Bela and Bo) end up on the editing floor?

sg

If you want to see it, here's a link to the book. (Hope it works). Click on the extrabuy link to go to Amazon for more in depth and reviews.

Notice this on Weirdal.com:

From the next "Pets and Their Celebrities" Book

So this is a different book.
I'm ranking every Beatles song on my new pop culture blog. Check it out!

So this would be like.... PATC, Part Deux?

Ach, I'm SO confused

If this is a second book (or part of a series), I wonder when I can get my grubby li'l paws on it?

P. S. Thanks for the clarification, though. You're probably correct!

If you read back a week or two in the "weirdal.com update" topic, Scottidog had an e-mail exchange with the photographer of the "Pets And Their Celebrities" book with some interesting info.

Thank you very much, OE!

From what my feeble li'l mind can grasp, some pics of Al and the clan will be in "In Touch" magazine (available at fine magazine stores everywhere), but the book

won't actually be out until sometime next year.

Geez, much more of this mind-bending and I'll need Dr. Dad's crash cart!

It isn't easy being an Al fan, ya know. :(

Nah, on second thought, it's very easy to be an Al fan :bigups:

Well, he didn't specifically say there would be pictures, just a feature. However, we can hope.

And may I just point out again, how cool it is that Al has doggie jammies?

Has anybody (especially, I ask for purely selfish reasons, the anybodies who live in California) located the normal roosting places of In Touch magazine? Grocery stores? Chain bookstores? Circle K's? Gas stations (right next to the pickled-weiner rack)?

Well in Podunkville, Oregon I haven't been able to find it. I may have to make a trip to The Big City to Barnes N Noble to see if I can find it.

Hey, OE! If you do locate it, buy two copies, k?

Deal. I haven't found it yet here in Iowa-By-The-Sea (darn! I just revealed where I live! :nervous: ) but then I haven't tried any bookstores or REAL newsstands yets. I'm keeping an eye or four open.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.
