From USA Today, Life section American Idol front page blurb:

Next week: Our 'Idol' panel
Check USA Today weekly starting next
Tuesday as former contestants Kimberley
Locke and Josh Gracin, Grammy winner
"Weird" Al Yankovic and music critic
Edna Gundersen handicap the contest.

Anyone heard anything about this? Or have I missed it altogether?

I think it means that Al will review all the contestants next Tuesday in USA Today. Not on the show itself, but in the newspaper.

Too bad they're not doing a "Novelty Music" week as a theme this year! Al could make a great guest judge!

Yeah, I guess it's confusingly named. Like: "George Newman on lesbian nazi hookers abducted by aliens and forced into weight loss programs" as opposed to "George Newman on Town Talk."
Also, "Al on Americal Idol" sounded cooler than "Al Reviews Singers"

I didnt say its bad I was just remenbering last year. I dont mind Al being on it twice. Dont get upset.
