I remember reading the nightmare of the OC show tickets. Luckily, I ordered my tickets much later and still got pretty darn cool seats.

Well, the 15 1/2 hours of trying to access the web site DID pay off, as I was able to get front row seats.
Then of course I couldn't make it there at all.

Oh, so that's why I didn't meet you! I had front row seats all week, too. That must have been SO disappointing after all that.
Sorry to hear that.
Hope you'll get a chance to make some of the west coast shows this time
around. I'd really like to meet you

That sucks. Why couldn't ya if you don't mind me asking.
I got mine 3 weeks after they went on sale and I got 3rd, 4th, and 7th row.
Highly impressive compared to my first concert.

I was sidetracked in a highspeed chase after picking up "Frog," the bride-to-be of Sheriff Buford T. Justice's son.
Wait, that's not it.
Oh yeah! I simply had car trouble the day I was going to set out. Normally when this happens en route to a concert I can get help fairly quickly and get to the venue on time (oh, the joy of running through the Meadow Brook Music Festival as "Fun Zone" is being played somewhere off in the distance).
Unfortunately this happened at a kinda bad time of day, early in the morning, and it took a while to get it looked at. By the time the car was running again, I lost several hours of driving time....not a good thing for a meticulously planned two-and-a-half-day drive one way.
But, Snowman and I were able to get the beer to Little Enos on time!

Oooo. That sucks. Car trouble is evil especially when the fixing takes forever and lots of money.

Wow...
That's really a shame.
Jeez, it wasn't even a
positive reason, like you won the lottery and had to show up to collect the money.
Man, I would have been a complete wreck.

Lottery winnings would have still been there after the show. Come on, squirrelygirl, we need to talk about your priorities...

Oh, if I had won the lottery, I would have made it to the concert in my new autogyro and offered everyone rides in it.

You're
right ! What was I thinking?
But wow, even Al would be impressed with an autogyro! What an entrance that would be!
