I'm not really sure if it surprises me that there isn't already a topic for this. What do you all think of this song? Personally I love it, but I don't know why. Just such a... uh... catchy beat. :lookaround:

Does anyone here remember if the UFOs being shaped like Cuban Cigars is a reference to anything, and if so, what?

Because anything bigger would be wasteful? Because Al thinks Castro's beard is cool?

I dunno.

I don't really care for the song musically. I think it's cute and funny, and the Broadway endings cool....and it's Al, so it's A-OK in my book :Y

I like Slime Creatures From Outer Space better. That one had better sound effects (so it really sounded like aliens were invading the Earth).

Yeah, put me in the Liked Slime Creatures better category....

But the Hamsters are undoubtedly cuter than the Slime Monsters :D

Funny, but I was singing this song at work today. I love it.

If you were wondering why I was singing it, we were watching the Tony Danza Show, and I said it looks like he needs the Weird Al Kiss od Death already. Mean to both Al and Tony I know, but we need Al on TV and Tony off.

I like this song. I like the line that goes "They keep me up all playin' their electric guitars". I really like the guitar solo that follows. It's a pretty decent song. It's not great, but it's not bad either.
I bet you've never seen a skirt steak worn this way.

It's apparently a reference to... UFOs shaped like cigars.

Apparently they're a popular model in your part of the world.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

I like Radioactive Hamsters, but I think Slime Creatures is a better song.

Yeah, I like Radioactive Hamsters, too, but, like a few others have said, Slime Creatures is better. But Radioactive Hamsters still puts me in a happy, bouncing kind of mood.

:D
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?"

So awesome!
