Didn't see a topic for this. This is for times when Al is mentioned as part of a punchline in a late night monologue or something like that.

Here's a still from last night's Colbert Report in a segment talking about the band Survivor complaining about Newt Gingrich using Eye of the Tiger at campaign events. https://twitter.com/#!/TMBJon/status/16 ... 61/photo/1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks, Tony. I was wondering why that was a "punchline" to.

Time Magazine did an interview with Maya Rudolph (SNL) recently in which she references Al at about 2:50:

Thanks, Jon, for the image (I RT'd it, btw) and thanks, Tony, for the link to the segment of the Colbert Report from which it came. That was great! :lol:

Thanks for the Time Magazine interview link, Floridave. That was a good interview.

America's Next Top "Empire State of Mind" Song Parody, hosted by "Weird Al" Yankovic (Andy Samberg).
Tonight's Saturday Night Live was pretty darn funny, if you ask me.

It was a great show, although that was one of the weaker sketches unfortunately. I wish they'd done a little more with the Al impression, but as far as I remember this is the first time SNL has ever attempted anything Al-related save for the occasional one-liner in a sketch/Update.
