Plan on going to this show. Should be a fun time. Glad they were able to put another show in that blank touring spot. I'd been wondering about that.

Yay, I might be able to make it to this show!

Edit: Whoa, I just saw the ticket prices. No offense to Al, but they seem awfully high.

Highly doubt he has anything to do with them since they seem to be different everywhere. Twisted Sister just posted that they're doing a special show in Quebec tonight for 16 bucks!!!! Its like 4 hours away from Ottawa so I think Im gonna leave in a couple hours and go to it, since this band rarely plays live shows these days and Ive never seen them. I dont know Quebec so Im gonna have to do some mad navigation! I wanna rock!!!

Bought my ticket for this show. Chose one of the $45 seats, which was surprisingly closer than I figured it would be. Nah, Al really doesn't have much say over a ticket price to his concert. He does have his fee, but then it depends on everything that the promoter has to cover(facility, workers, set-up, etc.)...so it's always different. I did kind of find it hilarious, though, that in Bermuda's last interview, he seemed to think that all the concert tickets were just around $40. There's been many shows that I've paid more than that for. In this fall tour, though, I've been selecting the cheaper tickets. One because it's fall, and there's a possibility that I won't be able to make it to every show. And two, I'd kind of like to see the concert from different perspectives. For important shows, I have tickets in the front.

Anyway, for this show, I got Section 201, Row L, Seat 16.

I know Al doesn't control ticket prices. I just didn't want it to seem like I was saying he's not worth paying $50-$80 to go see. If money weren't an issue, I'd have bought a ticket already. But I've got to see if I can afford it.

Al did You Make Me tonight. The coffee shop was the Constant Grind at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. Al flubbed a line in eBay saying "test" my feedback, also slightly in Spam he said tab instead of can, but then segued into it. Bermuda added a weird thing at the end of Eat It. Some kind of 'oohs'. This goes along with the high pitched rapper 'what' that was added into White & Nerdy for the Atlanta show. The blue boots that Al wore in Atlanta were gone at this show for some reason. He was back to the regular boots for Perform This Way. Saw Steve as I was walking around the casino area after the show, and chatted with him for a bit.

Really fun show. Good crowd. Neat casino. Great time.

You have to love the presence of the occasional flub. It's evidence to trot out when people insist that Weird Al lip synchs his concerts. Which they do sometimes.
