9/22/11 Verizon Theatre @ Grand Prairie, TX

Post by OneWAY »

This is a more local show to me, so I'll be going for sure!

I went to this venue last year and thought it was a fantastic place for Al to play. Lots of stage space and plenty of seats in the house! Anyone else coming to this one?

Nope, I can't make a Thursday night, but it is a really good venue and easy to find.

I would like to go but the concern I have is that Verizon's web site says the tickets are done through TicketMaster but he's not on their web site and when I called, customer service rep. said they are not handling his tickets. He's not on the Verizon web site either so how and where do we buy his tickets?

They don't immediately add shows to their website schedule and the tickets aren't on sale yet. They will be available today on the weirdal.com presale, but otherwise you can't buy them yet.

me and my husband went to this venue to see him last year. it was amazing. i have a question, how does a person get to meet Al and the band? this show falls on our 5th wedding anniversary and my husband has always wanted to meet him. is it even possible? we waited around back by the buses for almost 2hrs after the show last year. he was hoping to see him then. we kept getting different stories from different people and turns out he left right after the show :( if i could pull this off i could slightly repay my husband for how wonderful he is to me! im disabled and he works so hard for me. i never get to surprise him, mainly because hes the one who takes me everywhere, so this would get him! so if anyone can throw any ideas my way, i would appreciate it ---thank you :D

For this show it might be tough. Suzanne has family in the DFW area so it might be family day instead..

Bought a single ticket for this show. Since it's on a Thursday and it's really expensive, I figured it would be easiest that way.

I'll be in Section 103, Row D, and Seat 8!

A friend of Jim West's posted on Facebook 8 hrs ago that he has 4 tickets to this show that he's willing to let go at face value. Any takers here?
