World of Weird Al Yankovic

Home of the some of the best Al shows ever, such as the infamous conga line in 96 during Twine Ball which prompted the "No Conga Lines" signs being posted at the show in 99 which was used for a VH1 special. Been waiting for a show there for over a decade now.

It's a maybe. I should be heading up that way with friends from work around then anyway. Just gotta confirm when we're going so I'll know if it coincides with the Al date.

It's a Tuesday so I know I have off from work. I'm going to try and make it!

I'll be there. I wasn't all that impressed with the acoustics last time I was there (for the VH1 special) but it's close enough that it's hard to refuse. Does anyone know if they've renovated recently or anything?

It's exciting that there are 10 days between this show and the Morristown one. Hopefully he'll fill the void with lots of East Coast shows.

I believe they had some renovations done about 3 years ago. Rufus Wainwright did a show there and it sounded okay. Kevin Smith, too.

Not sure if the acoustics will be any better though. I'd stay away from balcony seats because they're VERY cramped. I'm interested to see how well this draws on a school night. I might not even be able to make this one.
