Here's a little more information: Apparently Al is voicing half a banana. I'm sure his experience as the original celebrity Banana Surprise-ee helped him tremendously in reaching inward for the character's motivations.

Man, Dr. Katz would have been so cool as the bananaman.

Wait, is the new episode today? I haven't gotten to set my DVR up yet, so I'll probably need to know.

New episodes of Adventure Time air on Mondays at 8pm EST. The interview said that Al's episode will appear in the third season, which they just finished storyboarding. The episode with Al won't be coming for another couple of months, maybe a year.

I just saw two whole episodes for the first time this past weekend with my son (he's seen a few other episodes) and it was pretty funny. Then he made us act like Jake and Finn as we were playing Super Smash Brother's Brawl. :) Fun stuff. Go figure that Al will be on it soon. It turns out the my three favorite bands/artists do tons of stuff for kids! Weird Al, They Might Be Giants, and The Aquabats (All on Disney, Cartoon Network, and Nick Jr. regularly.)

I wouldn't really call Adventure Time "for kids", Cartoon Network is definitely marketing it toward them but when you see the content of the show it is obvious that the creators don't have that demographic in mind.
