Songs you'd like in the playlist

Post by sarley27 »

This is for older or more obscure Al songs you'd like in the playlist- maybe Al will look and take some ideas :)

Mine are Franks 2000" TV, Callin in Sick, Eat It, My Bologna, You Make Me and ALbuquerque as well as the usuals. :choon:

I second the vote for Dog Eat Dog. It was the highlight of last year's OC Fair shows and I hope he keeps it in the set for awhile.

I love Frank's 2000' TV too, and I'd love to see a return of Biggest Ball of Twine

Anyways, I would like to see him perform:

At least 4 new songs from "Poodle Hat"

Germs, It's All About The Pentiums,

Amish Paradise, Everything You Know Is Wrong,

Young Dumb And Ugly, Smells Like Nirvana, Fat, Dog Eat Dog, Like A Surgeon, Dare To Be Stupid, Eat It, Nature Trail To Hell, I Love Rocky Road, It's Still Billy Joel To Me, Free Delivery, Fatter, Laundry Day, Green Eggs And Ham, School Cafateria, Pacman... The List goes on...

I want ALL of his songs performed!!! :sigh:

Actually all the songs including the Poodle Hat songs would only add up to about 10 hours. For 27 hours he'd have to show UHF, TWAS series and lots of ALTVs.

Back to the topic at hand, I'd also love to hear I'll Be Mellow When I'm Dead because the irony of the lyric shows how mellow he has become without actually having to die (whew!).

That would be funny! They'd have to have Mongo standing behind Al as he sang, periodically holding up a "Not!" sign.

You inspired me to do some WAY surfing.

QUOTE You can't make me settle down. Well, Suzanne did, although I don't imagine that any compulsion was involved.

QUOTE You won't catch me sipping Perrier

Down in some sushi bar. QUOTE What does this have to do with Mr. Yankovic? Well, Al's \"Behind the Music\" has no [Price of Fame] section. He is a pleasant, fun, nice, courteous, soft-spoken guy who graciously accepted club sodas from a drunker and drunker host (me) at our Christmas Party. I just got lit and pushed club soda on him hoping he would finally get pissed and be un-nice in some way. Nope. And, really, what is Perrier but club soda with an attitude and an accent? :P

QUOTE don't want no part of that vegetarian sceneQUOTE Lizzy of St. Paul, MN asks: What's your favorite restaurant? I've got a number of favorites in the L.A. area - I like the Gardens of Taxco (Mexican food), Toi (Thai food), and especially Real Food Daily, a completely vegetarian restaurant in which I am an investor.

QUOTE No redwood hot tub to my name.

QUOTE Weird Al Yankovic, known for his pop parodies, has listed his Hollywood Hills home...Built in 1949, the remodeled contemporary has two bedrooms in 1,400 square feet. It also has a spa... That was his old house. To judge by the holiday card photo, the current one has a pool...

And, to sum up how much things have changed...QUOTE Everybody in the band is pretty mellow in a way

Of course, some of the lines in "I'll Be Mellow When I'm Dead" are still true.

QUOTE

Psychosis may be in this year,

But I'm really not that kind

QUOTE He's probably the most sane real person I have met in the business.... He's a great guy.

Also, his kicking, jumping and screaming are going just as strong as ever.

And finally, to sum up how much things have stayed the same...QUOTE I don't need to prove I'm cool.

Which is one of the coolest things about Al. That's why he can look at the trends, laugh at them, and let us in on the joke.

Yeah. That and the writhing and mic licking... :wow:

Désolé, je suis simplement étourdi des nouvelles de chapeau de Poodle!

Yup, I had to Bable Fish the phrase. I don't remember that much from my 2 terms of accelerated french classes :eh:

The phrase I typed in to be translated was "Sorry, I am just giddy from the Poodle Hat news." For chuckles I had Bable Fish translate it back:

QUOTE Afflicted, I am simply dazed news of hat of Poodle!

Which is what I said. Pretty much. :dontgetit:
