Should Al parody Lady Gaga?

This article, written today, says that Al is considering doing a Lady Gaga parody:

http://popwatch.ew.com/2010/06/23/weird ... ga-parody/

The premise of the article is to come up with parody ideas for him, although I think the only thing that'll accomplish is getting a list of parodies he won't do.

But, anyway, does anyone know if Al is actually considering this? The article doesn't sight any sources, and based on the author's writing style, they seem like somebody that shouldn't be writing articles. . .

EDIT: Similar thing said here: http://www.ksbitv.com/news/entertainmen ... d=96991364 That one sounds more credible

It's obvious that these reporters know nothing more, if not less, than we do about the progress of his album.

Yeah, I think they're just manipulating what Al said to the point where they can jump-start a rumor everywhere about a Lady Gaga parody on the next album...

looking at Twitter, I'd say it worked.

Yeah, as I posted earlier, it was probably the reporter asking if Lady Gaga would be a good target and Al gave his "Anythings possible" answer. Plus he used her in the polka, I doubt he's gonna polka and parody again, he got some flak when he did Eminem in a polka and parody.

One thing that I think is solid is that he is quoted as saying he needs to write three more parodies. This could mean that in fact the polka is recorded as it was earlier speculated that he might add more or change it a bit before actually recording it.

Yeah, after that, I was positive Al recorded Polka Face. I guess he really is opening and closing with the song... kinda weird, but it works.

Is Gaga big enough to get the Humorless Candy Boy treatment? I mean, I know she's everywhere, but so far she hasn't been around long enough to be more than a blip on the radar.

So... probably the wrong topic for this question, but with a new Eminem album out, any chance there will be a Recovery parody?. Where's InsertCoins when you need him?

Far from the truth. Lady Gaga is much more than a blip on the radar. Like it or not, she is the biggest star to hit the music scene in about five years - the only recent artists to come close are Justin Timberlake and Beyonce.

No.

It's only a difference of two years in the spotlight between the two of them really, so I doubt that's a difference maker.
