Accordion to TMBJon's phone call with Al, Al says there's going to be some "really old stuff" on the 2010 Setlist. Let the speculation begin!

I think this means stuff from album #1-#6, maybe. However he could also be generalizing some of his work in the 90's, since that stuff is pretty old now. I'm thinking he's probably going to have the bulk of "really old songs" in the medley. So, it could just be parodies, but Al does bring back some older originals.

I think one of the best suprises would be for Al to put classic original songs in the medley. Nobody would be expecting that.

Nobody Here But Us Frogs? Im really thinking something off of In 3-d. Id say Polka Party, but DED is the only worthwhile song on there, and he did that during PH. Are we going to get NTTHi3D? Find out in 51 hours!!!

I took the "really old stuff" comment to mean songs from the first few albums, not before then. Adding in songs like Another One Rides The Bus, Midnight Star, and Dare To Be Stupid.

Yeah I got the sense that he sort of just meant some unearthed songs from the 80s we haven't seen him do since he was promoting that album - sort of like Dare To Be Stupid and Dog Eat Dog on the last few tours. Possibilities: Buy Me A Condo, Mr Popiel, Good Old Days, You Don't Love Me Anymore, etc.
I certainly didn't take it as if he was insinuating an especially rare gem would be unearthed for this tour, more a comment in the vein of "mixing up the old with the new."

Yeah, besides I think we all know he isn't really a fan of his early work.
I think Good Old Days will be there. I'm not sure of anything else, but to the lesser portion of the "really old" scale, I think I'll make the call on Frank's 2000" TV.

Now that I think about it, I really think we'll see Good Old Days appear. I seem to remember reading on the Mothership that it's a song that's either never appeared or rarely appeared live before. Maybe Al played it with the Roots on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon a few months ago to test it out live.

Actually GOD is a good guess so I'll go with that one. It tells a story. Obscure enough the fans will know it and the newbies will get the pleasure of hearing it for the first time. Plus shows off the musical talents of the band.
I'd love to hear NTTH, but thinking it's a bit long for that spot. It's a possibility, but I think you either want something short, something with costume or video, or something that tells a story, or you might risk losing the audience's attention.
I wonder if he'll do the rotating song thing again, like he did with WDTAHTM and "Bob." I'm thinking GOD could replace WDTAHTM as the story song.

I think Al confirmed he would do a couple of rotations this tour.
