It may in fact NOT be impossible. 2 1/2 hours from home AND a friend's couch to crash on. Definately do-able.

Not necessarily. One trip to my old stomping grounds in ten years isn't exactly overflowing in Al-ness.

If you want to see Al more often, just move to the city where he lives like I did. Not saying it was the only reason I moved to LA but it didn't hurt.

I'll start locating my couch immediately. It's here somewhere under a pile of laundry. I'll have it located by the time Al starts touring this summer, no problem.
