World of Weird Al Yankovic

I had hoped this would be the date of a possible IN show. I cannot believe that it actually worked out that way. I was afraid it would be on a Sat which would be very hard to adjust my schedule but I have that weekend already requested off from work....perfect timing!

Definitely plan on attending this show. The Star Plaza has always been on of my all-time favorite theatres to see Al in. From the skywalk that connects over from the Radisson, and usually allows for access to soundcheck, to the great opportunity for after-show meet-n'-greets...just such a great place to see Al. You really can't go wrong with the circular views that the Star Plaza provides either.

Real excited for this show.

Glad you will make it! It would not be the same without you there. I will never forget Al coming down during WBYL and getting right into your camera!! Sorry to hear about your loss too. Hope you will get to go see Al lots though this year.

I just got an e-mail from The Star Plaza stating that because I am a member of their Internet Advance Notice Club, I can purchase tickets for the show this Friday @ Noon from their website.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday @ Noon to the general public.

Hmm, nothing yet from Artist Arena. I kinda want to hold out for them because this is going to be the best show to get a VIP package I think. Unless more dates are announced in the Midwest that I can get to.

The website now lists the on sale dates one week later for PreSale and General OnSale. Wonder if this came as a result of our fan presale through ArtistArena?? I would very much doubt it, although possible.

The great thing about this theatre, though, is that every seat has a great view.

Also, if anyone gets the general onsale presale password, please post it...just in case ArtistArena doesn't come through.

Dunno if I'll make other shows or not, we'll see. Unless some wonderful miracle happens and i can travel more on weekends.. since i'm out of vacation time already. *sigh*

EDIT: and I just got an updated email from Star plaza stating that presale is the 12th..

This concert was just posted on Ticketmaster today, but they are listing the "old" presale and general public sale dates.

OK, those of you who have gotten the e-mail...what's the password? Just in case the sale actually is tomorrow.
