World of Weird Al Yankovic

I'm going to the 4th Annual Aimee Mann Christmas Show at the Largo Theater in Hollywood tonight, and in doing research on the show I came across this:

That's cool and funny, but I can't find any evidence that Al actually appeared LIVE during any of her Christmas shows. I guess there's a small chance I may get to see him tonight...fingers crossed. He seems to be making a lot of small, random appearances here and there around LA (the "Top Secret" screening, the Pixies charity thing, etc.), and he's hawking a best-of CD...so there's hope! Maybe he'll even perform TNSWC, since it ties into his CD!

I was wondering if he was going to be part of her Christmas show, based solely upon seeing this pic yesterday: http://twitpic.com/tkt1v. Seeing that picture reminded me of that video you posted. I knew not of when/if she was doing another Christmas show until just now. Let us know if Al does appear onstage. Sounds like a fun show.

Actually, the pic of him with Seth Rogen(?) looks like it may actually be from rehearsals for the Christmas Show. Nice bonus if I get to see Al perform tonight!

Looks like Al was at last night's performance. There are three days worth of shows. Tonight is the last day. Also, I had forgotten that tonight, he'll play GH5 live online with some lucky fellow gamers who signed up to play with him, so he probably won't be there.

Oh well, it doesn't sound like he actually sang. It would have been worse if I'd missed him performing a song.

Actually, the GH5 thing is from 7pm to 9pm EASTERN time....the Mann thing isn't until 9pm PACIFIC time. That means Al will be done with GH5 by 6pm here in LA, which gives him 3 full hours to get to Largo. Maybe the odds have dropped a bit, but it isn't out of the question that he could be there. A boy can dream, can't he??

Oh, ok. Yeah, that could be. Here's hoping he will be there.
