It looks like I'm the only one on here that attended, so here's my story.
Before the concert we went up the Calgary tower to kill some time and admire the $20 view. Amazingly enough, I'm pretty sure I got a photo of the tour buses from the top without even noticing until after. What do you think?
We showed up an hour and a half early, and as we spotted the buses, Steve popped in one to get one of his basses or something. We got up the nerve to talk to him, and basically told him we were excited and whatnot.
The concert itself was pretty awesome. I managed to get some awesome shots in before I got caught. Yay.
Polkarama (I think?)

Canadian Idiot got the most reaction, of course.

Aaaaand then I got caught.
Oh well, there was always the waiting by the bus!
"He'll be out in 5 minutes" turned into an hour, but we still got to meet him!
The strict one autograph, one photo policy made me look between my bare leg and my self-titled LP longingly, but I knew what I had to do.
Meeting HIM!
Freshly Sharpied
I'm amazed I could even talk to him at all. I think I said something along the cheesy lines of "You're my inspiration" and asked him to sign my leg, and that was it.
He took his time though, and made it look nice.
The next day I went to a drop-in tattoo and piercing place in the West Edmonton Mall who were able to do a nice job of it. I will probably add to it in the future, I'm thinking a spatula of some sort.
Summary: By far the best concert of my life!
