called the ticket office this afternoon - as far as they know, no cameras allowed... is that typical? I'm ok as I took so many pics at the music festival last year but... I just got a new, better camera. Oh well.

You have to take it anyway Ena... for afterwards you know?
At the theatre in Scranton they never even bothered looking for cameras I think. Lots of people got a lot of pics, even from the front row

I have it in my handbag

battery all charged up and plenty of room on the memory card. Never mind that there's 2 Gbs on there - I have to clear up room anyway - it's psychological
The ticket booth didn't quite know but maybe the ushers 'may' know... but unless everyone and their pet hamster is taking pics I don't want to risk having my camera taken during the show.

I think it's pretty unusual for a camera to be taken during a show, generally the ushers will just tell you to put it away if there's a problem. I like to chat with them ahead of time and get the ok.
Good luck and have fun!!

I will definitely say hi to Steve for you and that you're reading the book, etc. I have some cartoons of mine to give him. And I have all 4 CD inserts from his albums.
every other word in my head right now is "eeeeeeeeeee" or "meeep" or "squeeeee"
