I need some help for the Hollywood star application! I'm looking for quotes from any celebrity that put Al in a good light. For example, how Chamillionaire credited Al for his Grammy, or how Donny Osmond said if it weren't for the "White & Nerdy" video he never would have landed the role in "College Road Trip."

I found this topic (Original Artists' Response), which has some good quotes which I will use, but it's limited to poeple Al has parodied. This assignment is not limited. Any celebrity will do!

If possible, please provide a source for the quote, or include as much info as you know, so we can track down the source. Post here, send me an PM, email, or contact me on MySpace, whatever's easiest for you! :mahalo:

When I asked Seth Green to sign the Rock Hall petition, he said, "F**k, yeah, I will--he deserves it!" Does that count? :P Probably not...I'll look for some more in-depth quotes... :)

Oh, and it probably goes without saying, but of course there are really good quotes by celebrities in the A & E special on Al.

Drew Carey, Bill Mumy & Ben Folds said some nice things about Al in the "Biography " show

The Drew Carey one would be good. "He takes his wife to the Playboy Mansion"

In this interview, Seth Green said
Al's awesome. He's an icon. I love him. He gave weirdos like me a place in this world...
and a few questions later,
Al's somebody that I've admired my entire life.

He also said something about there being so many other people out there with so much less talent who were in your face and Al had all this talent and was just modestly rockin the world with an accordion (or something near that)

This is probably not useful for Walk of Fame purposes, but it tickled me anyway: Patton Oswalt describing a standup comedy show he did at the Verizon Amphitheatre in Houston:
The only moment of light and happiness during my set was when a piece of confetti from the previous evening's "Weird" Al Yankovic show fluttered down from the rafters.  I put the confetti in my pocket, called Al that night, and cried.  No, really.

I'm sure you already have these as it's a link about the Star Fund, but there are a few good quotes here.
