World of Weird Al Yankovic

I'm happy to say that I have absolutely no plans at the moment, other than spending some time with my family. I may or may not tour next year – I haven't really decided yet. And I'm sure I'll start working on the next album at some point, but right now I just want to slip into a coma for a few weeks.

I'm sure most of us know that Al may tour next year, but nothing is confirmed. In the meantime, I thought it would be interesting to see If you guys would like it if he toured again, what setlist changes you'd want to see (if any), and where you'd like to have him come (Europe Tour?) Or maybe you want him to go straight back into the studio for the next CD.

I was thinking about this the other day - one "Albuquerque" teaser he could try maybe "Let Me Be Your Hog".
But, then again, if he would sing a song where he screams a lot - it wouldn't be smart to begin that song where he ALSO screams.

I guess Al could sing "Harvey, the Wonder Hamster" with a hamster doll in his hands - then throw it when the first notes of "Albuquerque" start up.

At this point, isn't it basically confirmed by Jim West that it's gonna happen?

I dunno if any real changes in the setlist are necessary... this tour is pretty much perfect. Cell Phones/Albuquerque wins. Maybe this time Al could vary the shows up more (like Bob?WDTAHTM). For example he could do Close But No Cigar some shows and then replace it with Virus Alert at others.

Well, I think the Headline News verse should be updated. Paris Hilton is so last year.

I'd love to have another tour

And Britney Spears is just too pathetic to do the verse about her. And I agree with Jace, I'd like to see him mix the shows up a little more. Maybe cut Bob and WDTAHTM with something off of an earlier album. Maybe stuff from the first album. I'd love to see Gotta Boogie live!

I hope the SOL tour will be over by the end of 2008. Since I lived in Las Vegas, can Weird Al plan his tour there? I would like to see Al doing "Photograph" by Nickelback polka-style as part of the "Polkarama modified version".

Am I the only one who doesn't want an '08 tour? Don't get me wrong, it would be great to have another leg, but the sooner the tour is over the sooner we get the next album, right?
