World of Weird Al Yankovic

A friend of mine in Youngstown says there is an ad in today's newspaper for a show on August 17th at the Chevy Centre. Hope I'm not jumping the gun here...

Well, it's not on the mothership yet, so maybe it hasn't been confirmed. But as soon as it's confirmed I'm gonna get tickets, because I have a pretty good idea where Youngstown is, and it's the day after my birthday.

Please, please please please, let it be true!

I will be going to this show...if it eventually ends up being true.

Ohio Al concerts are usually my favorite, so the more the better.

The Chevy Centre is like 7 miles from my house. And there's not a bad seat in the house. Saw the Trans Siberian Orchestra there last year, and the acoustics are great (for an arena). Oh yes. I will be there. Oh yes.

By the way, August 17 is a Friday night. If this turns out to be true, then y'all are invited over my house for a bonfire and cookout after the show! (and yes, I do have a 3 acre yard with fire pit, a large deck complete with Polk Audio sound system and Al CD'S!)

Yup. I've been praying for Al to do a show in either Indy or Ft Wyne IN on my borthday. It would be the perfect birthday. And... Stu Pidasso, if this turns out to be true, I think I'll take you up on your offer. I'll bring the marshmallows.

Is there any word on this? The dates described above would make it very feasible, as it's on the way between shows. The Mothership, this site, or the Cevy Center hasn't posted anything yet, but it's about 60 days until showtime, don't they like to start selling them then?
