Is anybody going to this show willing to take the Rock Hall petition with them? So far this concert is being unrepresented, and I would like to get a volunteer all set up with information while there's still time.

It seems as if it's been a while since anyone's posted in this thread, and I had to quickly brush the dust off the top of it with my hand before posting, so I'm not even sure if anyone on here is still planning to go at this point.

Anyway, please PM me or bug me over in the Rock Hall thread if you're interested in helping out.

Well, I know Yank27 and "weird al" rocks both went to this one. I think I even saw them on the Corn Palace's Webcam from outside the building. Also, near showtime you could see on the webcam that quite a few people did go to this one. However, they might be the only ones from here.

I know in Green Bay they had trouble with the WiFi on their computer, so maybe those problems stuck their ugly head up again or the hotel wasn't equipped with it. They'll be back late 27th/early 28th, so I'm sure we'll at least get a review then.

I've been to the Corn Palace before on my trip across the country (the day after visiting the Twine Ball). Hilarious that Al is playing there, but not surprising considering they said it's the biggest venue in the state. That being said, it is still at most half the size of most of Al's usual venues.

Just pulled into Des Moines for tonights show, finally got to a hotel where the internet works. (Last nights hotel worked too, but I was too tired to post.)

The show was great! Al added corn donuts to the list...which barely got a response...I was surprized. I got some GREAT close up pictures. I was standing in the equivilant of 2nd row, right in front of Al. Between Dan, Jon and me, we got probably around 900 pictures.

Before the show we ran into Steve outside, and mentioned to him that the corn palace was closed between 5 and 6 oclock for a soundcheck, but Steve told us they werent doing one. We were also told that it was Joe's last night as the stage manager, so we'll be getting a new harmonica guy, and a new ho. We met Al briefly after the show...only 1 autograph allowed, no pictures.

Sorry about the Rock petition, I didnt even notice nobody else was going to be doing the petition at this show...let alone even be going to the show. I'll be signing it tonight if it compensates at least a little....?

Glad you all had a great time, Jared! I'll definitely miss Joe if I go to any other shows, since I've had him most of the tour and know him. He's a great guy...and he did make a good, ho!..lol....I think it will be interesting which one of the two guys are the stage manager or both.

Glad that you got to see Al after the show, as well.
