For anyone who's seen the video, the coolest thing about "White and Nerdy" (besides Donny Osmond) has to be Al's awesome sweatshirt with the W&N logo.

I know that on Al's site you can buy the sweatshirt for about $50 (with postage and etc.), but my question to anyone who's bought the sweatshirt is this: is it really as cool as it looks in the video? Does the one that Al sells on the site have a zip up front and red trim like the one in the video?

I know its kind of a dumb question, but the pics on the site were kind of vague (no actual photo of the sweatshirt, just some dopey computer generated drawings of it) and before I shell out $50, I want to be sure of what I'm getting.

Thanks!

No, it's not zip-up and it doesn't have a red trim.

But it's a great sweatshirt, nonetheless.

Yeah, even though it's a pullover style, it's a great sweatshirt! I love mine!
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

So awesome!

Yeah, not quite as nifty as Al's actual one, but it's a very cool hoodie. It kept me very warm during the winter.

Hey, thanks for answering my question everyone!

That's really interesting that its not a zip-up hoodie. In the VH1 special of WHite and Nerdy, he wears a zip up one, without red trim -- check out the vid here:

VH1 Big in '06

You have to scroll down and click on the "weird al" link, and another screen will pop up with some videos, you can see his VH1 preformance of "White and Nerdy".

Maybe this version is a modified version of the one that's for sale on the site? Also, I wonder what sizing is like, do these sweatshirts tend to run big, or are the sizes pretty average?

Edit: BTW, I forgot to mention that you have to have pop up blocker turned off to watch the video, and its not the one called "weird in 06" at the top, its the one that comes up after you click on the "Weird Al Yankovic" link further on down the page.

I guess it depends on your body structure, plus on your preference. Some were saying theirs were big, while I like mine the way it is. I may be skinny, but I prefer my clothes to be baggy, so I got mine in a big size.

I might say they're average in size, but this is from a person who likes baggy clothes.

What brand name is it (on the tag)? Thats a good way to find out if they run small or large.
