Harmonies 'n stuph
I have said it before, but I think Al has an amazing voice. Listening to (I think it was) Polka Your Eyes Out, he sings "Do the humpty" the harmonies in that section are incredible. So rich and full. And Since You've Been Gone. I love the doo wop!
Any other really great songs or parts of songs that impress you for their sheer musical talent?
And need I mention the primo drumming by our own Bermuda Schwartz? I love the drums on I'm So Sick Of You and When I was Your Age. Jon can really rock out! Ok, Steve, Jay and Ruben are good to. Oh yeah, and that Al guy.
I am consistantly amazed at the skill level these guys have both musically and vocally.

'Melanie' and 'One More Minute' come immediately to mind.
'The Saga Begins' also - it's just beautiful!

Well, happy birthday!
That sounds like fun. Did you educate them in the WAYs of AL?
I will have to re-listen to that. I love the melody, but can't say I notice the harmonies. <Queing up F2K>
Wow! Incredible. I hadn't really noticed before. Like I said, I thought it had a nice melody, but you are right. Amazing vocals. Al sure does good singing with himself! <Imagining being in a room with Al and clones doing 4 part harmonies.>
Is it hot in here?

I know I'm going for the obvious choice here, but I honestly think that "Frank's 2000" TV" is one of the band's best works.
And since the topic here is about harmonies, again I would push that right up to the top. The chorus itself is wonderfully complex in harmonies without overdoing it.
