Would you like to hear White & Nerdy included on the next NOW CD. What are the chances that the producers on NOW would want to include a Weird Al song on any of their future NOW CDs?

I'd love that! Even though I never buy Now CDs...
I think the very well might put it on there.

I guess there's a possibility. The song has been doing very well. I personally don't really care, as I've never bought a Now CD in my life, and I don't plan to start any time soon.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

The next NOW cd probably won't come out for another four months, so at that point, it's very unlikely. Maybe if the second single (And no, I'm not counting DDTS) takes off.

Plus, with all the royalties they pay already, I would think trying to get a parody on there would be a nightmare (I think they use a lot of repeat artists due to already established relationships). So unless they see Al fitting in and moving copies as much as the other artists, it might not be worth it for them.
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

I've purchased NOW cds before and looked at the NOW 23 just today (didn't buy).

I have the old NOW ( Now That’s What I Call Music (UK)) series from the 80's, but I don't buy it these days unless it’s a very good compilation album. I’d rather buy the original artist’s albums instead.

However, for "White and Nerdy" to be included in the NOW compilation albums is a very good idea! Al truly deserves it as it will give him more exposure.

If "W&N" is on a Now compilation, he'll probably sell less albums.

That's just what I was thinking. Most casual fans, or people who don't consider themselves "fans" but like W&N, will just buy the NOW Cd because they aren't interested in all the other songs on SOL. Sad, but true. :(

Well, I don't know how much money Al would make from having "W&N" on a Now compilation, but it might be worth it. Alas, a lot of the success from "W&N" is probably thanks to people who don't buy albums anyway--the kind of people who only like what's popular on TV or radio. Thus, the whole Now compilation series is perfect for them. Those type of people wouldn't buy SOL anyway.

I suppose NOW 27 isn't an option?
