I love it it is one of my faveorite parts of the album. I have watched it everyday since i got the album and i watch it more than once when i do watch it. Last night me and my sister were watching it trying to figure whats in his hand when he's recording I'll sue ya. She thinks it might be a pencil but i;m not too sure. I think the part at the end with Nina looking at him through the glass at the end it so sweet. My sister was like that kid doesnt have much hair for being 3 and i was like well this was recored like a year ago. At first i was saddended that he wasnt really funny in it but now i realize he's woking and cant just be crazy or nothing would get done

Yup, the b-t-s featurette is my favorite part too. It really demonstrates how important virtually every detail is to him in getting it right. He doesn't want to release anything less than his absolute best possible. I think that's great!!!!
Thank you Al!!!

I felt kinda bad for him cuz he was getting a bad headache from recording i'll sue ya.
I wish they recorded more. Like when they recoreded the parodies and stuff and showed them in between recording. Or show suzanne and Al take the camera. They couldnt possibly been strictly work the whole time or at least i hope not

I was a little disappointed with it to be honest. I thought they parts they showed were interesting but just one part in the production process of the album. I would've liked to see something involving the creative process, the meetings, and SOMETHING with the parodies. At least recording them if not also getting permission for and writing them.

I don't think a lot of planning went into the whole "Al in the Studio" segment. It looks more like Al just said, "Hey, Suzanne, wanna come shoot some footage of me in the studio to put on the DualDisc?"
But that's okay. It's more of a fly-on-the-wall segment than the comedy bits we're used to seeing. It was good. I've only watched it once though. I much prefer the music videos (well, three of them anyway).

I thought it was interesting to see this much of behind the album footage. It shows how much of a perfectionists he is and how much goes into just this much of the album. Plus, I liked seeing what microphones they use and how the sound effects were made, as well as protools. This is what I get for being a broadcast major. I start thinking about the technical side of things; it's fasinating to me.

Yes, I loved seeing Al and the guys and other assorted people in the studio, but I also enjoy watching because Al looks really great!
What? I am an Al-gal, you know!
